It's dumped all the air from the suspension, only way to get it working is for it to be put on 'test-book' or similar to get the fault read and system reset

My EAS let me down for the last time New years eve morning, missed my ferry so I have bit the bullet and converted to coils, pidcocks at matlock the best price,£320 inc..I aint no mechanic but with the use of a mates lift we did it in 2hrs,the EAS bypass was brilliantly simple to fit and the springs went on smoothly,I honestly cant tell the difference.I know the EAS is one of the best features on the RR but when it breaks, your fecked and living on the West coast of Ireland I aint even near a main road! Its a great worry off your back if you haven't the money to throw at it.

hi yeah coil spring and took me about six hours the taking out the bags and putting spring was easy the hard bit i found was putting the retianing clips in but i got big hand think that was the real problem lol

cost me 480 off ebay and i dont regret it one bit

the cheapest price i seen for kit was £250 but to be honest the spring didn't look up to much if you like tomorrow i could upload a couple of picture and let you see

Hi all,

I tend to do quit a few ks on the motorway over here and I would really like to know what the score is with these kits.
  • With these spring kits do you loose any of the higher speed maneuverability?
  • After fitting, what ride height will it be set at?
  1. High (like the off-road setting with the EAS)
  2. Normal
  3. Low
As I also drive around rough lakes and river banks you can see where I coming from. Basically I'm either in the high setting or the low one.

All the best,

Phil

yes please . i'm waiting your pictures .

i saw the pictures on e-bay ... but what about the hoses ? sometimes the level is straight .... don't you think it could be a hose leaking problem ?

today , when i was running on the high way the level went up to normal , and the flashing between the first and second level stopped ... so i pressed the inhibit button ... and till the night everything was good .. i hope it's something due to humidity , as somebody told me ...

what do you think ?
somebody write a mail , telling me that if i would like to live in peace with the eas system i must remove the timer under the driver seat ? but what this can cause ?

hi to all
that's what i did .. because i love my p38 ... so i paid 400 $ before the month ends , just because my rangie is suffering ... many problems occured while the eas system is in hard fault .. all time low ... i was suffering too .. i couldn't drive ... even to go to my school ( work ) about 4km away from my home .. even the exhaust began to get damaged ..
so i don't know if i did a mistake .. but i need the rest to my head .. so i changed the pump .. till now , everything is going well , the car took its normal mode .. and i earased the fault messages from the becm ( and lcd display )
regards to all .
charbel .
