Well just buy the stats listed in the thread and replace them you will need to repair the Broken heating elements which are causing the issue its a simple fix/upgrade mine are nice n toasty
As anyone ever thought that the seat heater stats are set at the factory temp for a reason?
Good question! As anyone ever thought that the seat heater stats are set at the factory temp for a reason?
Wammers you are quite right but if I have the seats in bits then I would hate to find that the stat was broken and have to take them apart again. I would guess that the genuine Land Rover bits are not cheap.
Don't know that you can buy genuine Land rover stats on their own. But you can certainly buy stats of the same value for little money. Easy enough to test your stats whilst the seat is stripped. Personally i would not increase the temp. Heated seats are to take the chill off not for frying eggs on.
Tell that to my BMW. Lovely and toasty.
They are probably fecked if you did.I've never switched mine on!
And she hasn't felt that warm down there since the old Queen died.Well on the drive back from the west country yesterday I had mine on and so did my 86 year old mother in law bless her she said the warm seat was the best thing ever for her osteoporosis and bad back.......

I like to be of service, whisky shortage on the Island at the moment. It's got seven weeks to recover.Ah, service is resumed.
