not really important, just wanted to share my new defender.

its a 2004 td5, a bit more than 100k miles, im the third owner.

bought it a few weeks ago, exept for a few dents here and there there is nearly no rust and everything else is perfect!

thoughts?

Nice truck. The wheel centers look interesting, they almost look like old-style freewheeling hubs and only seem to be on the LHS....?
 
what exactly do you mean?
The second picture shows prominent centre bosses to the LHS wheels similar in appearance to the freewheeling hubs that could be put on the front wheels of Series LRs (see picture) to give selectable 2WD or 4WD. Oddly in the first picture they cannot be seen on the RHS. I'm not suggesting there is anything wrong, just the angle of the shot.

oh! the silver wheelcaps were on when i bough it (the one pic they are on is the day i bought it) but i decided to take them off (other pic)
 
Nice Landy! Very smart!

The centre wheel caps were a 90’s accessory, I haven’t seen these for a few years!
