winner, im half decent with a paint brush, need some new window runners for the front windows.
What u all think?

I got my paint from Homebase..did the landy for a tenner. Good clean, light sanding, white spirit to remove dust, then on with the paint with a foam roller...took me 2 hours in all, then another coat next day.

Thanks for the link, can't wait to get goin, I'm trying to get as much info before getting it as possible so that I can just crack on when I get it! I'm goin lanzarote with the missus next Tuesday and she keeps saying "the holidays first and more important, stop talking about that bloody car!"

Thanks for the help guys!

is the light layout standard on the arse end?

layout's right I think - assuming it's an age-related plate that was one of the last few s3's off the line. I've got a chum with an '84 B reg and his back lights are one up/one down like that too ... albeit without the military lenses. I think by then the 110 was in production with the same or similar arrangement.

well fellas, had the date moved forward to the 17th cant wait, just another question, i did search but didnt find anything too great!
it has two fuel tanks being ex mod, but only the passanger side tank works, can i hook it up so that both work or is it a case of one or another? Will most of these answers be found in a haynes manual?

Jamie
