Hi all,
I got my first series Landy today! It's a series 3 ex military 1984! It's in need of some TLC. But can't wait to get crackin! I don't get it until the 20th due to going on holiday!

The chassis and bulkhead are all sound, and it drove good!

You guys are the experts, so I was just wondering if there is anything I should prioritise when starting to work on the vehicle? A couple of things I noticed were the window tracks need re-doing! There is currently
no cd player fitted, but was wondering if it is possible to fit one? Not essential but would be good to have!

Thanks

jamie

Good call..i'd recomend one of those plastic anti-static strips hanging off the rear chassis too...and an orange space hopper on the bonnet as a retro air bag.

Most of us sadly had an empty brain when we bought our 1st landy.....and things then got worse.

Ok lads, I've established that the cd player was best left until later! I want to paint over it because the paint is flaking, is ex mod so want it goin olive green or similar, what's the best way to paint it? by hand?

Cheers

I've painted mine by hand and looks quiet gd. It's cheaper.. but u have gotta be pretty handy at painting to do it nicely :D ... very easy to get streaks :((

Have u got any pics up yet... kind find um if u have :(
