the injector pump has at least one bleed point on it (maybe two), find that and bleed what air you can out of it manually, nip it back up and then crack one or two injector unions and crank it over ..

this should release the remains of the air, nip them back up, a little heater plugs (20 seconds or so) and she "should" start

you could possibly try easy start if the heaters aren't working just don't be too generous applying it, have someone cranking it and squirt little shots down the inlet manifold, just short tsst tsst tssst shots to get it to fire gently on the easy start whilst cranking, if you're applying too much you'll definitely hear clattering and banging inside the engine until it clears

or the other method is to use a blowtorch down the manifold which draws hot air in to assist it to start, this is a lot gentler starting method to easy start

Hi I have bleed the Pump on both bleed screws on one of them the fuel pumps out with the engine turning but on the second one the fuel just trickles out regardless of wether or not I'm cranking the engine over. I have then loosened all 4 injector pipes but still get very little fuel from them? I tried easy start and it started but will not run on it's own? Is it possible that the pump is shot? Sorry for all the questions.

questions are good... dont be afraid to ask.. are you sure you are gettin a good pressure from the lift pump and all the pipe work is ok as it could be sucking air in some where so even after youve bled it it just sucks more in..

I've spent some time on it again tonight and have found that I have fuel getting to the pump as it should I have blead both bleed screws and there is no more air in it but I still have no pressure coming out to the injectors so maybe I will need a new pump after all
