It was bought new in 2004 by a mate who paid £28k for it.
It was never near sea water but used to launch a boat on freshwater loch, he claimed the wheels never got wet during launching.
My D2 td5 was just as bad as that,it came from a family that lived by the sea in Scotland,garage i bought it from in the midlands,bodged it up knowing i could not look at the chassis,they put a 12 month MOT on it as well,conning bastards,fortunately jamesmartin did a complete chassis swap for me,so now it is in fantastic condition,unfortunately i am having to sell it now.
