No idea, just going to take it slowly and hopefully do it right
Yep think that's the best way to go about it . Turn it into lots of small triumphs

Fookin hell that's some serious rust to develop since the last mot!
Was it used to lower boats into the sea? I've seen people with one end of a bit of rope around the front of vehicle and the other end on a trailer lowering a boat into a shallow slip
No, never near the sea, its only on the nearside, the offside is solid.
Hello mate. How much for the side steps?
Hello mate.
How are you coming along with the welding work?
That is the most rust I have ever seen on a D2 chassis. I'm surprised it could even hold itself up.

i wish i could show you the pictures of the old chassis on my D2,it was as rotten as rotten can be,a weetabix had more strength than mine.luckily it has had the replacement chassis fitted and it has been done properly.
Yeah yeah yeah, beautiful views, nature, they're alright, but not like being under a rusty hulk with shît and crâp falling in yer eyes - now that's what I call livin' !
Not so much the most rust I've seen on a Disco chassis than the least chassis I've seen on a Disco chassis.
Mine spent 9 years on a farm in Fife and is almost glistening in comparison.
Good luck with the MOT.
