How many children do have and do you know what to do?
Nursery rhyme, right?
Pretty easy job. I had to use angle grinder to cut the clamp that held it to the exhaust as it was rusted away, then had to carefully cut a slot on the back box pipe that fitted over the exhaust pipe, then opened that slot with big screwdriver, remove the hanging rubbers and twist back box off.Evening all
My baby BRUCE (my landy) is poorly he needs a new exhaust back box can anybody tell me how difficult or easy it is to change please,Rachel
You might get away without cutting anything, but if the box has been on a long time, it will be stuck.Omg
I thought it might be an easy job lol I changed an exhaust on a Previa that was awkward but I managed not sure about this one now.
Thank you

Oh ok thank youIf it’s a genuine box, it’s probably been on here at least six years, so old river is probably correct in his procedure

Just a polite reminderWelcome. Just a heads up. This is just introduce yourself, you will get a wider audience and possibly more advice if you post in the dedicated freelander section.
I thought so and also trying to help, in case of future issues with Bruce. Not sure about the Freelander forum but I know quite a few in the RR forum never venture out, but have plenty of knowledge and experience.Just a polite reminder
