Just like "woods767" s post....my Landy would not stop !
I was coming off the motorway and wanted to slow down, so I lifted my foot of the gas ( as you do :)
But the revs kept coming and I kept moving forward !
After stopping to investigate, I discovered that the bottom of my pedal had penetrated the new rubber mats Id recently put in, and was caught there , pierced through the rubber !
After pulling it off and trimming the mat............it was fixed ..PHEW !! :)
The cheapest repair Ive ever had done on my Landy !

Whats the cheapest repair youve done ?

i changed a fuse once
 
i tightened up a loose spade connector wiv some pliers - that were cheep
