Hi all,my old Jaguar Sovereign was facing a big bill to get a successful mot so a quick glance on Fleabay found me this.I wasn't after a Rangie was looking for another Jag but couldn't resist it. Here is the ad.

1 OWNER FROM NEW FULL LRSH! 2001-Y RANGE ROVER 4.0 AUTO LEATHER!TOTALLY ORIGINAL | eBay

Bought for £2600 inc 12months tax. A few days into ownership a bumpy road brought on the srs light :). It wont get much use so not too concerned atm.

Here she is parked up in her new home.

Must get some Gtechniq c4 for the grill

Yes the garage has full tea /coffee facilities plus lager fridge.

Looks great. I really loved mine when I had one. Keep on top of any niggles and it will be a lovely car to own. Enjoy!

A lot of car for little money. As yours is a later one hopefully it should prove more reliable than my 'M' reg disaster, that I paid 8k for and sold 18 months later (with multiple issues) for 2k.

SRS light could be the yellow wires under the seats, the connectors often give trouble especially when the seat is moved. Ignition off, part and reconnect a few times, usually clears the fault.:welcome2: to the mad house.

Hi and thank you , I found a mention of those wires with the search...unfortunately it had no effect and the fault light remains on.

Welcome. Nice intro, and your Rangie looks sweet. Like the colour coordinated car & floor ;)

Ok but i was going to go to bed. Anything in particular i need to tidy?

Lol ...are there any other obvious places to look other than the yellow wires that may be worthy of a look? I did read about a connection at the base of the B pillar but as mine does not have side airbags I believe this connection wont exist.
