:) I like the wheels, what size and type are they?

The RR looks really nice in black and chrome, without looking too blingy.

Looks really smart, like the wheels but 22"s are no good for me. Not a fan of the chrome strips but each to their own :)

Thanks guys, the strips are a high metallic silver, personally i hate chrome. The silver matches vents and grille with alloys too.

Love the L405 styling and the lines on L322 allow for the strips.

Adriatic Blue...I should have realised, it's the same colour as my RR!!

Nice wheels, as I said, but 22"rims are too big for me. How does it handle on the Ventus ST tyres though, I've also got Ventus ST boots on my 19" rims and find they're pretty good in all weather, quiet and pretty hard wearing.

The ST's are unreal tyres. Very well balanced, however I would say they are best in wet. Love the 22's as I am a fan of ride height :)

Im doing some minor touch-ups with paint match, but not sure what lacquer does or what it is for, can anyone give me a few words about it?

cheers

I think lacquer is also called clearcoat

pretty sure most metallic paint needs a lacquer coat

My P38 had light damage to the small plastic panel above the side of the rear bumper. I filled and rubbed down the area then masked, primed and used a base coat spray can

It looked ok, but the day after I sprayed the area with a few coats of the clearcoat supplied with the paint. it really gave it a professional deep lustre.

looks great although I wouldn't tackle a large panel with a spray can ;)

Yea got a touch up kit from paints4u. I bought a small fine artist brush today. Do I apply the clearcoat on a brush too and do I apply the same amount approx?

iv only ever seen the clearcoat added after a panel has been spray painted. touch up kits are as they are out of the tin
