But what are they?

Have tried various settings, freewheel hubs locked and unlocked, 4wd on and off, High/Low etc

The clutch seems to stick a bit after it has been warmed up and sat for a few minutes (petrol station, shop etc)

The front half-shafts seem a bit rattly and the transmission braking is phenomenal. Is this normal?

It is a 1960 Series 2. I love it already:)

Bleed the clutch, see if it stops it sticking. Make sure there's oil and grease where there should be - there's a lot of places it needs to go. Go through the whole transmission chain, looking for free play or stiffness. Check the brakes aren't binding. Report back.

It's when it stops rattling that you worry cos whatever was rattling has probably fallen off! :D

The overdrive lever on mine rattles away to itself, doing my head in, anyone got any idea,s ?
Dave

i pulled the pivot bolt out of mine and fitted a thin O ring on it up to the hex head, i then squirted chain lube inside the pivot and over the pivot bolt, it hasn't rattled since...

i drop a heavy rag over my high/low lever to stop that rattling ...

all i've got to do now is get round to reattaching the radiator surround to the crossmember fixings to stop the bonnet and wings from clattering when i'm sat at the lights (bottom of the surround has rotted off :D )

thanx for that, i,ll give it a go 2morro.( still trying to put some pics on, best find a 6 year old to give me a hand:confused::confused:)
