Thank you!I know all to well about enough projects to keep you busy and congrats on getting married, if you ever are going for a play in the mud/woods let me know and maybe go out to get stuck lol
Don’t think so, I’ve only had my landy on the road 6 months but been looking into places like green leisure where you can pay and play either your own or rent a disco from them witch I was going to do when mine was v8 because the rental was only like £90 the day and mine would have drank nearly that lol but now I would use my own truck. Been Thinking of a guided trail in wales so as me and the wife get a weekend away with it.Thank you!
is there much up around your way?
Why thank you, yeah I wanted it to be like a sled underneath so if I did come to a over Streep climb it would not just dig in. It’s made of a bog standard winch plate then 6mm plate steel.lovely looking bumper that is, nice detail. I like the fact its not just box section got a nice contour going undernieth it

I’m not sure really but it was already fitted when I bought it and my dad doesn’t use a fairlead on any of his 3 winches just straight through the bumper and we use them winches for static caravans and most are about 6 to 8 ton but the truth is I don’t know if it’s right but it will be fine lolIs it normal to use a steel winch cable with that style of fairlead?
Cheers
Just googled it and there are lots of peeps using non roller fairlead but just to add it’s not a plastic fairlead it is cast ironIs it normal to use a steel winch cable with that style of fairlead?
Cheers
