One bit of good news is a group buy on Disco3.co.uk was finalised yesterday and today this turned up:

Will be bringing the laptop home at the weekend to hopefully get it all up and running.

For a two bed I have got an unusually large driveway so parking for 5-6 cars is doable lol.

The missus orange focus st is at the back (she has three fords)

My worry is I struggle looking after two cars as it is.
Plus next year I did think about chucking some AT tyres on the 19’s then with a snorkel the D3 with be more than up to green laning and much better for traveling to wales to go on a laning trip for example.
Not to mention the running costs each year for an m3 aren’t cheap, nor is buying one.
I hear what you’re saying! The D3 should do everything you need - although you’d probably not want to go pay n play. It’s also a limo and practical load carrier: it’s the reason I’d rather like to get one!

I think I’ll get a D1 or D2 first to replace my Freelander and then work my way up ;)

Yer but then I could have gone pay and play Sunday but chose to go get new wheels for then D3 instead. Kinda says it all.

Looks like I have a D1 for sale ha ha

Get a D3, and make the Freelander into "Monster Donkey", You know you want to, you do.......LOL.

Cheers
I have thought about that: nice Chucky modulars shod with ATs and with a 40mm lift - with a Diesel engine and a snorkel, it would be ready for the ‘Plane! Lol

I’ve got - ahem - a few cars, and I’d be likely shot if I added a D3 to the fleet! Lol [but it makes sense to me! ;)]

Yup - ‘nuff said! Shame it’s a commercial otherwise I’d have been interested: want to be able to take the kids on landing and off-road adventures. It’s otherwise a really nice truck! :D

But if it is hers????....LOL.

No need to get silly with the L'ill Donkey, it just has to be better than a Suzi Jimny..:p, slight lift , bigger diameter tyres .

Cheers

She always wanted a Disco... lol

Yes, a 40mm lift is all it really needs. And possibly a 5mm thick alloy undertray :)

There you go, that is the lowest point. " how do I engage my freewheel hubs when I am stuck in the ****"....not too difficult beat.

Reckon a lift, bigger dia tyres some waterproofing and a snorkel , Plus thicker skid pan ali would do the job. Oh yeah and do NOT forget one of those fishnet tights things across the bonnet.:D

Cheers

What was that fishnet thing all about? Pretty poor scramble net - and the guy ended up gonad-deep in that swamp anyway! lol
