my disco or her eh???
just put my disco up for sale 'cos i busted me ankle up an gonna be needing a slushbox saloon for 3 months or so and my wife's just threatening to leave me if i don't promise to get another when the ankle's fixed!
i secretly reckon she prefers either the disco or our local mechanic to me like!

Why not just get a cheap car and flog that after 3 months?
 
The esteemed members of this forum would be better placed to give you advice on this rather serious matter if you provide us all with pictures of the Land Rover and the girl.

Both covered in mud for best effect.
 
My misses puts up with the sh*t I give her.
Gutting pheasants & rabbits on the kitchen work top, off roading but If I sold the disco (hers) she would cut me balls off !
She's turned to the dark side as well ! :darth_vader::fighting2:

:doh: cant just get a cheapie as i need to be able to rely on it........... yes my disco is reliable....... no it don't fall apart............ no it ain't broke down on me in 14 months only needed to change a spring and a track rod end for mot....... i just bought the best example i could find that hadn't been to the moon and back (its only just done 82k) and looked after it oil changes etc
besides due a reasonable compo payment this year so i'll just do the same when i start disco/defender hunting again!!!!!
i likes a good hunt i does !!!!!!
 
my misses moans too. "i promise that i'll be careful with it and not brake it anymore" often works. usually shuts her up. then couple months later brake it agen and say same thing. being nice works for me even tho i dont mean it
 
Im home again now and my disco can stay !!! only 1 pay and play day per month and for that i have to take her out for a meal, can do as much green lanes as i like cos i never break anything laning,,

no pall she did not beg me, my Mrs not that type.. more me begin her. we have a good relationship when we know who wears the pants. and i think that's me when she lets me !!! lol
 
motors cost less than a woman mate! I would be a wealthy man with no grey hairs if i had listened to the old guys that told me to keep away from them when I was 16. Trucks bikes and out on the beer with my mates any day for me! better off in the long run chap

wasnt the diff i did. starter motor and rear trailin arms. havent had chance yet with work, the weather, and the misses saying "ur not fixing it today, u'v got summat else to do". cant wait till iv finished doing up the house - more landy time
