Hi all, i have been putting up with it for a while but decided i need to try and sort it, the arse of the car seems to feel the bumps so harshly and wobble about out of corners :( , the shocks and springs seem okay, could it be bushes ? :s

poly bush everything ... you can get a kit for £70:) also check rear A frame mount.

Yeah if i was gonna do bush would go for poly bush rather than rubber , how long will a full bush swop take? my disco 200 felt solid as a rock compared to this sloppy jalopy lol

Could be, what makes you say the shocks and springs seem okay.. your tests were?

For the shocks jumped up on down on it and then they stopped it bouncing straight away, and had a look at the springs and there was visually nothing wrong

all depends if you have a press , or use of a press to remove . if not then you need to burn them out , and hack saw , which takes ages. if you do a search , all the info you need.;)

You shouldn't have any bounce, disco springs are a lot siffer the the normal car springs where they press on a wing and watch for bounce as a test.
To test dampers they have to be removed from the vehicle.
Stand on the rear bumper and jump off the should hardly move unless your 20st that is :).
