Resprayed the bulkhead yesterday so it matched the new paint I added, not a huge difference but it was noticeable. I also had missed part of the window frame so that was done too.
Fitted the lower dash today which had its challenges as it is a replacement bulkhead but managed to fit it solidly.
next was the windscreen frame, not easy, in fact I have stopped and poured a beer. Any advice on how to fit the lower bolts? I looked at the video from Mike @ Britannica on you tube who suggests a podger to pull down on the bottom bolt hole to line up the middle one. Tried that, no issue on the first side, absolute b****er on the other side.
I decided that retiring to the kitchen for a beer(s) was the best approach rather than breaking something.
Any suggestions?

Old speckled hen is good but for a real crisis I think i'd go Timothy Taylor or Belgian ??

Good day in the garage today.
I’ve managed to get the roof painted over the last week or so, despite the wet weather the temperature was not too cold. Two coats of primer and three top coats. The roof was in a pretty bad shape with thick cracked paint that needed flap discs to prep it.
Today, with the help of a friend I got the roof on, complete with replacement seals all round.
More encouraging was the connection of the battery, confirmed lights on the back work and I just had to see if it would turn over the engine, yess brilliant it works!!

Got the rear door on, had to drill out new holes for the lower hinge and the latch assembly.
The seal was slightly out mid door rhs, fixed by pulling out the seal a little and supporting between it and the wheel arch with dum dum.
Fitted the spare wheel carrier too, a new one from Britpart which has gone on well and not rattling. I was intending to use the ORE wheel carrier but funds need to be conserved.

I noticed my error when I stood back to admire my handiwork. Just another job on the list.
