It’s a pain in the backside when people don’t reply!the car I got the stuff out of was a k series’s it was very clean not long had the head done had a receipt for 1k inside the car it had them cup holders and the rear 2 rear seats with the plastic trim in the middle only things wrong were the carrier bearings had failed and has a oil leak from the sump gasket he wanted £290for the full car but I don’t have the room for it at present(really need to clean my garage out).Thank you, I do like the oem accessories Shes getting there!need a few more bits for the interior I must have bought a poverty speck car or someone has had all the bits out of her:mad: which is I thinks the case even the little plastic inserts are missing from the cup holders.
Blinking 'ek, you have cup holders to :D

Actually I think they're on all Facelifts, but getting some for a pre facelift is/was really difficult. One of the reasons I bought my parts was cos it had them! So I puts them in my motor, does 1 trip with them, don't use the cup holders, but missed the area for stashing stuff... so took em out o_O

Been a while since I done anything on the silver on but a few parts turned up, got a ebay bargain I got a rear dog guard for 1p,soft top roof which needs a bit of tlc but is all there and some ally sheet for the sump guard.Should be a busy weekend.

Fitted a CR tuning box left and bought a full set of silicon hoses which I haven’t fitted yet (bloody gout/tendinitis)The tuning box made a difference even set in the middle for power/economy a lot better pick up around 2500 revs.

The day started off well got all the hoses changed the intercooler hose was just about the rub itself through on the screw.
Then went to start the sump gaurd only to find out it’s well an truly on so covered the 13mm nuts in wd40 and went on to start the rear window guard while I was waiting, took the trim off the back door then I shut the back door to put the window up now the bloody thing won’t open :confused:is there a release? or a way to get it open? The window drops enough but the latch isn’t doing anything I have tried thumping it on the left hand side near the number plate but not had any luck.

Remove the door card and pull the actuator manually. That's the only sure way to release the lock. Getting the door card off while the door is closed is a PITA though.

Luckily I had took it off to fit the brackets for the guard.is the actuator the bit between the solenoid and the lock mechanism I take it?

Yes. It's got a rubber bellows on the top, going to a rod. Give the rod a yank and the door will pop.

Cheers I’m going to have a look at it tomorrow not good on my feet at the moment. might just have to rob the one out of the green one for now I’m off to get coil packs plugs and 15w 40 oil for it tomorrow.

I have done a few more bits to her over last few months,

Muddymods bonnet plates, snorkel and cb mount.
Remapped by Jc tuning.
Bonnet painted in truck bed liner.
Android head unit with reverse camera.

Danyou: You've been a busy boy! That's one desirable workhorse you've got there. One of my ( numerous :( ) daughters has got an FL1, she wishes it was as good as yours.

Thanks rank amateur it’s taking a lot of hard work (I have never really messed about with cars)but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel,Then it’s off for it’s firs off roading trip next month I’ll probably stuff it and have to start again

Some nice mods Danyou, I really like the roof rack. You do know the light at the end of the tunnel never gets any closer? A project car is the same as a project bike - there is always something else to do/change/modify :p
