Took the 109 to the supermarket - at least there is room for the turning circle!

Looks like you've done the typical Land Rover owners trick of parking next to something on one side to try and prevent trolly dents ;)

That is a real beauty, anyone would be proud to own that.

A real classic landrover, very tidy, but not over-restored, and being put to good use on a winters day.

Hats off to you, sir! :)

Best of luck with that, I very much doubt if there will be any here, we only get snow that settles once every ten years.

Whereabouts do you live? Just the region, I mean.

West Yorkshire. We get snow up the hills but I'm down in the valley. Could go and find the snow but just my luck for someone to slide into me as no-one slows down for snow anymore.

Out and about on some errands. Outside the Masonic Hall in Hipperholme (I'm visiting the docs across the road).
Got a few waves from other LR owners when out and about

Running a better after doing the valve clearances but still struggling in top gear and on hills - work in progress.

Just done my longest journey today to the hills above Holmfirth to pick up an exhaust centre section. Ran very well and the heater earned it's keep.

I had a 1956 86" Series 1 soft top in the late 60's, learn't to drive with it and took my test in it midwinter with snow on the ground  I had to help the examiner out after the test, poor bloke was frozen stiff but I passed. Nice to see a series 1 again but I wouldn't want one ;)
