Thanks €20-30 is roughly what was happy to spend.
I have only really bought the capacitor meter for one domestic job, or rather repeated job, I have 9 fancy thermostats to fix. But it will also come in handy for mending a batt charger for a really good but cheap electric drill I have and doubtless other stuff as capacitors seem to be at the bottom of so many electrical break downs.
But without it I managed for years on car stuff with an ornery multimeter. I have two and neither cost more than about £10.

I have a Fluke in work, at home I use a £15 Aldi middle aisle special. For most jobs the Aldi does the job.
The extras Marjon mentions will come in handy, as will a long earth lead if you need to reach the battery from the rear.
As mentioned an Amp Clamp will be invaluable for finding current draws. It is one of those things that will sit there for years, then when you need it, you will be so glad !
