Hello mud pluggers,
Just got home from the balloon fiesta in Bristol which has finished in a bit of a washout.
The trailer parks were very muddy and the only way I could get to our balloon trailer was to reverse up a short incline.
I tried reverse gear, low ratio at a slow speed and only got half way with loads of wheel spin. Then someone else moved and I could drive in another way and got hitched up ok.
My question is, if I had used diff lock would my chances have improved in reverse gear. i'm not much of an off roader so would apreciate any tips in these type of situations.
The Landy was great all
weekend going forward and beat lots of the foreign stuff even with my crap driving.
