Anyone know if any gauges would fit between the cb radio and the headunit.
I have a midland alan 48 plus, along with a Jvc radio i want to fit. Wouldnt mind gauges between the two.
Any body done this or got similar configurations. Dont need switches really.

Most gauges require a 52mm diameter hole to be cut, plus youl need to factor in a tiny bit each side for the surround. Measure it up or try a standard defender gauge for size. They also 52mm

Thanks. Yeah i realise they are 52mm, i was just concerned about the space behind for the gauges. With the cb at an angle, and the head unit at the bottom. Im not sure if there is going to be enough room for the back of the gauges. Wondered if anyone else had done this?

Gauges aren't that deep. Would be surprised if didn't fit but not got one myself

In the absence of other views, maybe worth a call to the supplier?

Cheers station house. Ive rang mud stuff, and they reckon it may fit, just they cant gauruntee they will fit.

I really hope they do. Would be a perfect set up for me

Hows your drawing, Draw it to scale, full size, get the angle right and the depth of your radio/cb then you can easy see the space left between them.

How would i do the angle mate?

From the dimensions everything should fit, however the space behind i have no idea if it will. Firstly with what i want to fit, and secondly with the defender dash/bulkhead

You could use a sliding bevel or make the angle by cutting two bits of card, ruler size, hold one against the vertical and the other on the angle. where they meet, secure the two together and thats your angle. then just do a section drawing full scale. Did you fit the console? im not sure how much of the defender dash tray has to be cut away to fit it. Hope thats clear.
