Hi somebody might know this, does anyone know who now makes/sells the mug plugga pattern tyres in 750/16? Have had a few sets over the years from different suppliers but want some more.
Have seen them somewhere but just cant find them.

Hi do you mean the type commonly referred to as "**** grips" fitted to military land rovers? If you do sorry I can't help but I'd be interested in a set myself as I find them actually quite good!

I thought the military tread was g90, I have a set on mine they are goodyear

Yeah they are the newest tyres on the wolf. The one I'm talking about are the ones fitted to series wagons in the 80s.

you talking about the mud plugga copy of the firestone SAT? ive got a set of SATs that i use, brilliant tyres, especially off road!, last weekend getting me further in my 2.25d SWB than v8 90s and discos on the insa turbo simex copy things!

i found these copies of the copy a while ago: 7.50R16 112/110L Fedima Maxima order online from Tyres Direct

Thats exactly what I was looking for! Just couldnt think which make they were!
They are perfect for a series with a 2.25, my missus won the alrc nationals rtv on them in her series a while back. Time for a new set.
