Hi all,
I am looking to buy my first land rover and have seen two locally for sale.
One is a 2.5 TDi which is in nice condition for the year (M reg) priced at £1990 (open to offers). The other is a 2.0 MPi which is in fair condition (N reg) but is LPG converted, price £1250.
A 2 litre engine seems a little too small to me for a beasty motor like a landy but perhaps someone more knowledgable can enlighten me.
MPG is important to an extent due to the mileage I cover but it is not neccessarily the most important factor.
Which would be the best option to choose, I have done a little research and the TDi seems to be the most favoured.
I am looking for a discovery because I need a seven seater and I don't like the modern MPV's. I currently own a renault estate with seven seats but I want a vehicle that is a little more fun and stylish.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
PS. The MPi is listed on ebay so if there are any other factors that need to be taken into consideration I can give you the link if that is allowed.
