does anyone no what the gearing is in mpi diffs.. they use a defender transfer box , will the diff gearing be 90 too...

Pretty certain std 3.54, i would say only reason they have fitted the 1.4 tfer box is because the petrol engine is going to rev a lot higher than the tdi lump, plus to allow it to pull away as its probably as lfat as a witchs tit at the bottom end.

3.54 like a 90 ,disco 1 ans 2 like defender use the same ratio ,except for some special defenders that use the 4.7

Hello guys. I have a 2.0Mpi Disco and my rear diff broke. Can I use one from Defender 90. And if no, do you know from were I can buy a cheep one - second hand /i'm in London/ Regards,
