Hi, We are looking at older discoveries-around the 1995 era and have seen a couple of 300tdi automatics. Can anyone give us an idea of the sort of mpg we could expect?

hi the one i used to have was a n plate 300 es model all i could get out of it was around 25 miles per gall
so i swapped it in for the 300 tdi manual and now i get closer to 35 m p g ...........

Hiya,

I have a 95 300tdi auto and just about scrape 400 miles to a tank full of fuel. That is all urban mileage. Best I ever got was 28 to the gallon.
