I was wondering also about the belt and will it miss the water pump pulley etc
Will I need a different belt?
Best to find out theses things before making brackets up.
Is it possible to pull the alternator up higher in its original location and fit a longer belt? that would help out with the turbo pipe
Yes longer v-belt, cant remember size was a bit hit and miss to be honest
If doing it again I would mount alt slightly higher and nearer rocker cover to get better belt wrap on the water pump pulley.
Its a bit crude but has worked well for approx 3/4k and over 3 years
Weld for alt pivot point needs to be well done
