got rushed in to hospital several times, he was determined to make
Peterborough, left on Sunday in pain, back in Casualty on Monday....

I think he's having difficulty adjusting to thinner lenses on his
glasses as well!

Nothing to match the pain of an ex-colleague from my days working in
the NHS gloating whilst reminding me of how I used to bollock my
patients for not doing as I'd suggested... Ho hum... (whistle)...

It got better, now as the eye improves, the new (interim) specs have
become equally as useless as a chocolate teapot. Life goes on, and I
can still find my way to the fridge and know instinctively how to
operate the corkscrew ;-)
