mines passed first time for the last four years with no adviserys. on a class 7 test, but being daily driver as well as weekend toy and doing about 43000 miles a year any little niggles tend to get sorted straight away

It is customary to fail the initial test, didn't you know that?

Only reason it didn't fail is because I got my uncle who's a mechanic to do a mock test on it and then I fixed what he found. Needed a plate on the chassis, a swivel and then just bleeding the brakes. Then after that I took it for the test and it passed. Must admit I turned the fuel down to get it through the emissions and then turned it back up in the car park ;)

Mine is back in for the retest today. Plate on the rear cross-member and radius arm bushes. Should be fine.... (famous last words)

Mission Accomplished. I now have 12 months ticket on my landy anorl.:)

I do have a few things to sort out in the not too distant future though.
