Hi all,
Hope you're all well and enjoying your weekend.

My MOT advises that the n/s suspension rod pin or bush is worn. Please can someone tell me what they are referring to and if it's a DIY job?

Many thanks!

OK my MOT station locates any fault with yellow wax crayon to show were the problems are, have you looked at you suspention to see if there are amy marks to show the area they are talking about, as a person who once did MOT's I have no idea what they are talking about, best I can think off would it be a drop link???

page 64-4 in the manual, items 30 &39

Hi Charlie,
Can you feel/see any play in the drag link or track rod ball joints? After that the upper and lower ball joints.
Regards,
Griff

Could mean the rods/bushes in the control arms. Replacing a whole control arm is quite easy but expensive. Replacing a bush is difficult without a decent press. Either way the control arm needs to be removed to do it.
Could you not have asked the tester to clarify?

Hi fellas,
Thanks for your replies - appreciated as always. I'll take all your advice on board. I'll get under it and have a look/play and maybe give the tester a ring.
Cheers.
