That law is supposed to be introduced in September, but i wouldnt expect it to last long if i were you.

I believe it will be "recovery vehicle status"
Same applies if you bolt an air compressor to the inside of the tub.

I think it would be much better if they re-introduced rolling road tax exemption. I've read in practical classics that they're thinking of introducing t again, how much truth is in this I don't know

the facts a vehicle has to be over 3.5 ton to become mot exempt.
and must not be able to carry anything on its back.
ie suspend tow only.

another oldie revived

anything pre 1960 is now mot exempt irrespective of weight surely.

Having said that I wouldn't buy a vehicle that old (project aside) without regular ones from someone I didn't know I could trust had been maintaining it properly
