if you've not sold it before hand send me a PM when there's just a couple of days of it's tax or test left and i'll make you a sensible offer

what state are the seats in - and could you post some pics of the interior at some point - the more orginal and unfettled with the more it is worth to me

there is method in my madness :)

PS: dont give up on repairing it yourself just yet - have a good read of MIG Welding - The DIY Guide and you might get inspired to have a go yourself

PM sent Sean, to be honest I dont want to sell it, but ive no where to try and repair it and no tools as such, mad ant it with no tools ect, and to be honest ive no money to pay the garages either.

ive just spend 1500 quid on a esab 251 mig/mag welder and would be willing to weld the axle casing for a drink. only problem is i wont be able to do it for another few weeks as i am having a digital volt/amp meter fitted to the welder. the shock mount is a definate fail as is the swivel housing, the exhaust should be an advise notice but the bulkhead is not a fail unless the rot is where it mounts to the chassis/foot wells or there are jagged edges on the out side surfaces.

if ppl were to give a rough idea where they live.they would be supprised at the responce they would get with help fixing vehicles,i live nr swansea im able and willing to work on landrovers i specialise in series 3s i also do chassis replacement, welding. i overhall gear boxes and axles and electrics, and i dont charge rip off prices i do it as a hobby i dont have a work shop but i have tools and im mobile but due to size of wifes car i dont carry a lot only what is needed, if you have a garage i will travel to you with in a reasonable distance.

Or within 30 cm of a safety dependant component like the brake servo? or the clutch master Cylinder.

I've got a pair of bottom shock mount repair brackets kicking around. You're welcome to them for 20 quid plus the postage.
I bought them to repair me old axle, but then got a Disco axle for a bargain price instead, so I don't need them.

Cheers mate, money sent
