If its a camel and it came out of factory with em then no.

If its not a camel then its illigal anyway and should fail.

That is good idea. Best not decapitate someone.

Should fail on no sharp edges on body work. Cheese wire is sharp :)

Jus cos it's illegal does not mean it will fail an MOT

Indeed!

When I did my mot training the trainer asked if a vehicle would fail if it had a statue of a worrier with a razor sharp spear in hand we all said yes! The answer was NO as the sharp edge wasn't caused by damage or corrosion
So in answer busy cables are not a reason to fail an mot!

Doubt you will have a fail with bush cables fitted, the place I use never mentioned them

I don't think Yoyo was suggesting it had owt to do with an MOT, just a possible excuse to get a tug by Plod on a bad day.

Many, Many things will pass an MOT that are not road legal, its a difference between MOT requirements and Construction and Use regs.
An MOT is a test of minumum roadworthyness, not of vehicle legality.

Keeps the people in Morocco who beg for stuff at the side of the road away from the truck when moving slowly, probably work in Basildon too. That;s the point of them.
