Took rangey for mot last night. It passed but the inspector pointed out canvas showing on pretty much all the air bags. Where should I buy replacements from...theres a set on ebay£235 delivered..same as oe buy made by britpart, are they ok or should I buy Proper Dunlop? If so where from?
I also got an advisory on the rear tyres ...is it best to replace all 4 ? At present the tyres are Pirelli scorpion .Do I buy the same again or something else.I dont go offroad or intend to. Thanks .

Cheers Wammers have ordered from there. Whats the opinion of General grabber xt tyres ? Can get a set of 4 on ebay for £365. My car runs on 255.65.16s

You can get 4 wheels with tyres for that on eBay. Think there's someone near Yarmouth selling a set of 16s at the moment.

Never used them so don't know for sure how good they are.

Nexen Rodians, quiet and improve directional stability enormously. Not expensive either, PM wil2813, he'll fix you up.
Follow my airbag replacement guide in the "How To" section to do the airbags, easy job unless the endcaps are stuck at the rear.

Never tried them but the tread pattern looks like it'll be fairly noisy. Do you do a lot of off-road stuff?

Gone for the scorpions to play it safe .Blackcircles £348 for a set of 4 delivered which seems very keen to me. Theres still lots of tread on 3 of them but checked the datecodes and theyre all 2008 tyres so think they best get binned.Not going to do the airbags myself chickening out of that one,the mot inspector is doing them for me. Thanks again for the help.
