I've just been looking at other low mileage P38s for sale and came across this car...
2001 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER 4.6 VOGUE AUTO BLACK P38 CLASSIC | eBay

Must be the most expensive P38 in years.

From within that ad:

"P38a Poor Taste Check List - if any of the following hold great appeal to you then my car sports NONE of these afflictions and is unlikely to meet your requirements so please do not waste your time reading the rest of my advertisement
1. Coil spring conversion
2. LPG conversion
3. Custom stainless steel exhaust probably with four tailpipes
4. Trashy oversize wheels, probably from an L322 or worst of all “Kahn” alloy wheels.
5. L322 front headlamp and grill facelift “styling package”
6. Range Rover “Sport” vents cut into the front wings
7. DVD screens butchered into the front head rests (and not by Land Rover Special Vehicles Division).
8. Sticky-back plastic faux walnut from Taiwan caking as many interior parts as possible
9. Plastic chromed blingtastic wing mirror and door-handle covers.
10. Privacy Glass – as in all likelihood you are not a celebrity or from Essex."

The omission is the plastic "Brembo" caliper covers

I agree with you Castor except for the privacy windows ! not that im a celeb but it stops other nosy buggers seeing whats in the back of your RR ! sometimes that might be me asleep, also after nearly 10 years with my P38 and 67,000 miles I just worked out that equates to £30k in petrol at £4.00 a gallon LPG could have halved that !
