I had to extend the switch box to accomidate the volume of wire required!

I am almost certain that bull bar will not fit your winch bumper!:( Youll have to cut off the front mounts and weld it on with some braces like ive done to make it fit, not somthing you would want to do with upmarket winch bumper!

O Dear, that won't be good. I bought it on the basis that Brownchurch said they had fitted one to a vehicle with a Warn Powerplant winch, I assumed that meant it fitted without to much hocus pocus

Spotlight bar assembled, wired and mounted (that was a mission!)

You will now be know as Rich - The Golden Meatbomb :D

I've just been running around in circles like a headless chicken, panicing that my many well made plans might not all work exactly as planned (mostly the plans for my business to run smoothly without me while I am away), o well, as they say in Norway, Fuk It...

So in my tradition of prioritising all the important stuff first, I have retagged all my music for the iPod, mounted my subwoofer remote control on the sunvisor, and ordered a smaller CB...

On that note I have a brand new Midland 78, with a din bracket, that I'm not using, so if anyone wants to purchase it for a small fee, or barter me something for it, speak up..

I'm going to be a Kris'es tonight, we are going to build that storage system, hopefully, and maybe mount a bull bar. Then I can get it loaded up and look for a weigh bridge to see if I really need a suspension upgrade

Okay the bull bar went straight on, just took a couple hours to get the fooking nuts on...

and the landy is starting to look like the low rider, so I'm not even going to bother with the weighbridge, just going to put on the Terra Firma Expedition shocks and HD springs...

Tryed fitting my shocks this afternoon, abit of a disapointment. They are 50mm shorter than the ES9000s and seem no stiffer, so ive had to get a drop plate kit to stop them picking the axle up on a turn (they sit just 1.5" from full extension at normal ride height and they are the +50mm ones ) ah well, the drop plate should fix it and hopfully they wont be the limiting factor in axle push up.

Your bull bars are just the job, the ones i have were suposed to fit around the front of a standard bumper and have no winch space like that one. Mine have served me will at protecting my wing corners and lights, but no landrover bolt-to-bumper bars will stand up to a proper impact. Im suprised you dident go for an ABR bumper, i know i want one. :p

All my ferries are now booked! Im on the same boat as you buddy. It will be my truck when you hear from below the "bang...bang....crunhhh....bang...." as its rolling around free in the cargo hold. :D

My dads bought the disco, a "lovely" 300tdi without a floor. Seems mechanicly sound, i was very thorugh with the inspection after what happened last time. Just bout to order the parts for it, tuesday is my designated discovery day, in which i have to fit all the suspension, the guards, tow points, spotlights, change the oils and filters, rebuild the boot floor, and fit the CB radio (still got one for sale Andrew?) So basicly i have tomorrow to finish up the defender.:D

Okay Guys,

Last minute stuff, you guys who are driving down may want to print out your vehicle importation docs, link and instructions here :
