Ok another problem i have with this Range Rover is the sound system.

All the drivers side speakers work, all the passenger side ones dont inc the one on the dashboard.

Ive looked in the boot and there is no subwoofer in there either??

Its a non harman kardon setup, could the missing subwoofer be the cause to the left side speakers not working? Or something with the headunit?

Its true what they say about these things.......money money money

Look behind the trim left hand side of the boot, that's where all the gear is, it's probably wet. Corroded connectors due to the water are a common cause of problems.

Yes as datatek said

Mine originally didn't have the sub until I fitted my own

Depending on what spec you have
You might not even have an amplifier in the boot

Its a 12speaker system (no nav) it has an amplifier mounted quite low down in the compartment ill check the connectors etc tonight.

More than likely the DSP as Datatek says....he speaks from his friends bitter experiance - check out his recent thread for a set of corroded pins

Luckely Datatek is an Electronics Whisperer and managed to repair the pins, but in the worst case it can fry the DSP which will render it all fecked!! :(

Nah, I shout and curse at it:rolleyes::D Frighten it into submission:D:D:D

I've just checked my wiring etc and I don't actually have a connector for a subwoofer so I'm guessing mine is only the poverty system.

Just out of curiosity the n/s/r doesn't unlock on the central locking could this be related to the whole left audio not working?

Leightly. had exactly the same on my HSE. It was a pin corroded in the Amp connector box. you will have to remove the amp and have a good look inside. If you can reattach the broken pin (a la datatek), then good. I just bought another amp for C. £85 adn everything back to normal.
