Is it maybe down on power for a reason?

On mine I had great results from freeing up wastegate arm, cleaning MAP sensor out (spraying sensor with contact cleaner) and cleaning the MAF sensor (gently wiping element with cotton buds soaked in contact cleaner). If the MAF is dirty or dead the car will be very below par.

The intercooler may need cleaned out. This is on the service schedule.

It would be a good idea to make sure everything is good before spending any money on upgrades.

Cheers

It's also possible to up the power just through Notebook. Our local Land Rover specialist can do it without needing to replace the ECU chip. Says he can up my TD5 to over 152bhp in about 10 mins. However, TD5 Alive will custom re-map your ECU for whatever your requirements - ie towing, off-road, economy, motorway etc. They have a good reputation and might be worth checking out. The TD5 was massively de-tuned to allow it to run on poor quality fuel, compared to the application in BMW road cars.:blabla:
