Hi
I am 6' 3" and have just purchased a 2003 TD5 and I wondered if there is anyway of moving the drivers seat back a few inches to give a bit more legroom.

Yes. There is a lever under the front of the seat. Pull up on this and at the same time push back on the seat. :)

Sorry.

There must be a way of getting extra legroom and I am sure someone will advise you soon.

There is a kit you can buy that removes the panel behind the seats and replaces it with something less obtrusive, it's about £140 to buy and allows a couple more inches of legroom. Involves cutting obviously but kits are readily available.

Thanks guys for the replies, especially Brian. Do you know if this will work on Disco 2?
No. I just saw it on an Australian Land Rover forum. We don't need much legroom. I often wonder though if seats are interchangeable between later Discos and the D2.
