Tomorrow i will be replacing all shocks and springs with a britpart kit i bought from paddocks.

however in my garage i have a pair of brand new monroe adventure rear shocks that someone gave me a while ago.

should i use the britpart shocks that came as part of the package or the monroe shocks ?

Use the Monroes - anythings better than ****part, although I fitted deCarbons on mine (was feeling flush).

chris, didnt you buy the 2" lift set? check the length of the monroe shocks over the britparts... think you will find their diff. unless im wrong and you bought standard length springs and dampers!

yeh i did buy a 2inch lift set....but the britpart dampers were standard length.

apparantly they do work fine with +2" coils, but wont offer the best articulation offroad.

I cant find the bushes for the monroe dampers anyway so looks like I will have to use the ****part ones anyway!

so thats what u were chattin on about the other day? do britpart springs have a bit of a reputation for this then?

the ones for the series have a realy bad reputation, and britpart in genaral has a bad name for quality of there components. hope for uor sake you have a decent set.

benn told most of the cheaper end springs start to sag after a couple of months. Also been told one of the better kits is Bearmach any comments onb them cos imm gonna get a Bearmach kit at Billing in July.
