I certainly don't intend to skimp, I need this to keep me going no matter what the weather. Yeah the clutch doesn't quite feel right at the moment and I can't find information of the last clutch replacement, so having it checked just to be safe, same with timing belt and oils and filters
Be careful with people who claim to "check" a clutch for you. Short of pulling the engine and box apart you cannot really check a clutch - if they pull it apart you are as well spending the money and fitting it... Catch my drift.
LR clutches can feel funny if the hydraulic system isn't spot on - I'd bleed the clutch first, could be as simple as needing the bleed nipple cracked off to let a big air bubble out.
Do the oils yourself, get yourself some tools if you don't have them, a decent 1/2 drive ratchet, some spanners and some sockets and that will have you doing your oils. Or get a decent socket set with all the ratchets and sizes - spend reasonable money on it or end up forever ruining nuts and bolts and skinning knuckles when rotten ratchets slip.
Local motor factor should do you your oils for boxes and engine and filters for about £60 all up - add £80 for decent set of sockets and ratchets and you are still cheaper than the garage.
I pay £25 for 20 litres of 10W30 or 15w30 or 10W40 whatever, which is a semi synthetic oil. Should do you about 3 oil changes.
EP90 GL4 for the transfer box, that's GL4, yes GL4. GL4 or 5 can go in your diffs and swivels (or better, use grease with a topup of EP90 in for the top bearing).
MTF94 in the main gearbox - motor factors will struggle with this, use LR or eBay.
