without a shadow of a doubt john, its in the LR handbook, it might say synthetic oil but it does say the above, it also says it should be changed every 12k miles but they recommend you change it every 6 especially if it does a lot of short trips, just like you said earlier, if im wrong accept my apologies and let me know

yeh just looked in owners book, its refering to the 2.0 LR tractor engine different unit altogether, solid motor but a tractor in comparison
