What mods have you done that you wish you had not done.

I installed a rear mounted spare tire rack.
HATE IT.
Yes it saves space but what a rattly , noisy piece of ****e.

2 inch HD lift kit on a RRC, awful ride, steering went all light and fidgety, rock hard ride, totally ruined it.

Just curious...what brand swing away tire carrier? I was thinking of purchasing a MANTEC one myself, but if they are noisy junk...I'll put my money elsewhere.

Mine was a cheapo ebay thing, looks and feels solid but rattles really bad. Keep in mind mine is a pick up back so a little different from the others.
I have an idea that I will soon try to fix the noise. Otherwise.....bye bye.

a safari equip or similar over center design wheel carrier with swing half door wont rattle but might be harder for you to get hold of

Only mod I regretted was fitting +3" Heavy Duty springs all round .. I soon went back to +2" and now want lighter spring weight again .. ;)

Wouldn't mind a swing-away carrier, mind ... ;)

Vectra gsi seats in my defender 110
Hard to climb up into, left the backs of my knees straining when pressing pedals and my legs rubbed on the steering wheel
I mounted em as low as poss on custom brackets but after a week ripped em out and put the defender ones back in

Very comfy and heated but alas far from perfect

Forgive me but if I can speak of a friend who's since moved overseas I think, his modd regret would prob be when he bought a Tdci bulkhead for almost a grand to fit his Tdi only to discover it didn't fit when offered up
Then he sold it for about £500 and ended up flogging the Landy still dismantled not long after
If we ever were able to get back in touch I think I would have to hide my 110 300 Tdi which ahem is er fitted with a Tdci bulkhead ooooops

Window tint film. Impossible to apply unless you have 4 arms.

Halogen Roof lights - never even fitted em before I bought LED ones
