I know this is a bit of a thread revival but does anyone haven any updates to this? I'm always tinkering with cars and like to make them my own but initially I need to gather some ideas as the mods on this type of vehicle are different to the ones I'd normally go for. Unless you can stick a supercharger on them lol.

The thread is only a month old, haven't done anything to mine lately......but it is well modded. Not a lot more I can do lol. :)

Ah, I looked at the wrong bit earlier. I thought the bit on the top right of the post was the post date. Looked again and its the join date!

Little mod:D

It's been on for a month! With hail, high winds, and torrential rain! Not a drip inside, but its called a shower curtain

That's great buddy. Thanks. I like both the hardbacks and 5 doors. I think the 3door hardbacks look good but the 5 doors seems to have much more space.

They're actually the same size! Doors are longer which makes em look shorter!!

Love the FL Winu, I've been hunting around for a SD roof rack and ladder (not found any out there sadly)

There are some seriously sexy looking hippos here!

Gives me some inspiration for mine! :)

Not quite sure what Im gonna do with mine, I know Id like some more lights, because lights always look badass! :p

Id like some bull bars on the front too, but mine is pre-facelift, so the bars are horrendously expensive or hard to find :C

The key is BTO - Build to order, just the same like in case of Disco/Defender bumpers :)

I've started a winch bumper project, I bought a Warrior 9500 SD winch at the Harrogate LR show & am getting a winch bumper made, most will fit behind the bumper with just the fairlead protruding (facelift bumper), this is how far I've got.

This is the prototype, it is made of 6mm plate & is just a tad heavy so its back in the fab shop having some lightening holes cut. The "production" model will probably be 4mm plate which will be strong enough to pull all those Discos & Defenders you see stuck on the lanes ;). This isnt a bodge job, it is a well designed fabrication so needless to say it isn't going to be cheap . I will post pics as the project comes to completion, if anyone is interested in buying one let me know, the more I have made the lower the price :)

I'm interested :D , but mine is a first gen with old type of bumper , but i see that main construction under bumper valiance is the same (rails ect.) . Please keep me update, maybe we create versions for both types ?:5bhurray:

If you don't mind I forward your pics :) (with credits ofc.)

If you fit the bumper from a pre-face lift V6 you may be able to hide it underneath?

I think about evolution of joe27979 idea.

PHOTO THREAD

He's got the same model as mine, and i need to have top mounting points for my A-bar (those are mounted to this aluminum girder), but matacaibo's idea have better side mounting points (5 instead of 4) based on g4 challenge hitch as I see.
Those side fixings goes in to rails (4 point) and goes down to front crossmember.

In my case i need to connect those two ideas ;)
