Halfrauds have a 20% offer on Mobil1 oil at the moment.

Picked up a 5L can of 0W40 Turbo Diesel Mobil1 for £39 instead of £49...obviously I brought 2 of them!...

Initial reaction, smoked a bit at first but seems a nice smooth oil, time will tell.


oh, and its the one the Halfords book also recommends, it also complies with the A3/B3 spec Landrover stipulate.

£78.00 for 10ltr of oil Does it go faster with that stuff in it ?

dunno chief-I usually use magmatic or Edge but was feeling rather flush at the time :0)

That's a good price for Mobil 1, but I think I'll stick with Tesco's Finest Fully Synthetic Turbo Diesel Oil at the grand price of £20 for 4 Litres. Meets all the specs.

seems alot to spend on oil when there are far better oils out there at well over half that price for 5 litres

Tescos oil comes with clubcard points as well

If you wont a good oil for great price try comma x-tech 5w30 fully synthetic A5/B5 . Its about £20 for 5ltr on ebay including delivery.
