I'm guessing there should be a bung here! Is it the gearbox one?

I can see I thread but obviously there isn't anything in it!

No that's supposed to be there. You put a wading plug in it if you plan on going that deep however it should be left open

Phew! Many many thanks! My entire knowledge of cars is based around the restoration of a few Datsun 240Zs, this whole 4WD thing is new to me!

On a positive, fixed the slave cylinder.

On a negative fuel filler pipe is leaking where it meets the tank.

Onwards and upwards!

Yeah mine does that too. New jubilee clip and some oil resistant sealant if need be should sort it

That can't be on a landrover - there's no oil dripping out of it

the wading plug for mine was in the toolkit behind the seat
