My fault entirely my steering wheel is minging, years of using it as a work vehicle means on a hot day my hands stick to the wheel and the leather has split in the most annoying of places, tried cleaning it but its fooked, looked at covers on the bay and the stitch on ones are not going to work with my needle craft and a stretch over one is £90 odd quid, anybody bought a cover that was any good in the past?
Looked at wheels with all the buttons but difficult to say if they are any better than mine. Can a strg wheel be changed safely as I dont want to be stuck to it and get air bag splatted!

We had a similar issue with out 2005 L322, bought a leather stitch on one off eBay. The missus stitched it on so can't vouch for the ease of firing but she said it was easy and they have the stitch holes pre punched. Impressed when fitted and other have agreed. Much safer than an airbag splat:D

Some of the covers are all ready stitched and all you do a stitch to pull the existing stitching to make it look like cross stitch, i have fitted a cover to my bmw and it was a doddle.

The handle cover i did had a video online that was very good, i am sure there are ones for a steering wheel
is your wheel all black or a coloured one with wood the black ones are as cheap as chips and they are not hard to change.

Mine's the black plastic one. Very practical.
