Only 75, I have a 2.5 td 110 converted to 200tdi, disco transfer box (I don't tow) that will hit 90mph. on the M way in France.
With the standard 110 t box like yours flat out around 75, and about 25mpg, now I get mid to high 30's mpg. less noise at crusing speed and have a bit spare to overtake without scaring myself.
My first pre-cat 300TDi 90 I saw an indicated 92mph running BFG Trac-Edges. Speedo was under-reading as it should have had 205's on and these were bigger. Car in front was reading an indicated 106mph+
a good fender in the td5 family 90mph should be a treat the tyres are rated for 110mph so whats wrong with that, would rather have a 110 doing that though longer wheel base, little more room for ere
I don't see a problem at all but last time I said I had 90mph in my fender every1 on ere said I should not be on the road and I am a danger to other road users!!
Don't know about you but where I live 80% of drivers drive down or up the A1/ M1 faster than this but it's ok because they have cars that stop quicker??
I THINK NOT!!
As long as the plod ain't looking do as you wish as long as it's not life threatening!!
BE SAFE!!!
