Hi all, newbie here, but can I say what a fantastic resource this forum is. Huge thanks to "thebiglad" for his post of 24th July re what replacement/maintenance to do when first getting a Disco.
I wonder if someone can assist with this?
My 2001 TD5 disco (just bought) is lhd, been abroad most of its life in Egypt and later UAE, (has Egyptian service history by Jaguar?? dealers to confirm) and was obviously so reliable (famous last words!) the owner from new decided to bring it back to the UK. the speedo is in mph with the usual kph green inside readout. The service history is reported both in miles and in other entries in kms.
My question. Is it possible to change the digital display re distance travelled from miles to kph, maybe with the diagnostic or other device, otherwise I cannot understand how it has been reported in both at different times of its life? If it's easy I would like to change it back to kms, as I shall be removing the car to Greece to live its life there, hopefully, with infrequent trips back to UK.
Hopefully somebody knows the answer.
Thanks for a great source of advice, I hope I can contribute my bit when possible.
Regards
